Daniels & Mara, Inc. is a Macintosh custom software development firm based in Austin, Texas. It was founded in 1987 by the writing team of Jerry Daniels and Mary Jane Mara. (See Àá "Jerry & Mary Jane" for biographical details.)
These Mac pioneers published the first (electronic) MacWEEK*; wrote two critically-acclaimed books on HyperCard; and developed and published one of the first electronic publishing kits for the Mac called "MicroFILM." (See Àá "MicroFILM Reader.")
It is in the spirit of the old MicroFILM publishing kit that D&M created CyberReader‚Ñ¢ (the application you're using to read this electronic document).
*Renamed "MacTALK" when the name was sold to the publishers of the current, paper-based MacWeek.
